Andy,

Buy the system with the chips that you mentioned below, it really is 
the best way to go. I know the system is much more expensive than the 
MIS CFS, but since you are on a Mac the only way you can reset the 
chips is to use a reprogrammer that would require pulling the carts 
to use it. The extra cost of the CIS will be worth it to you since at 
most, all you will need to do is maybe turn the printer off for a few 
seconds and then back on to reset them to full, easy and no air is 
introduced. Also, if you decide to switch inks later on, all you need 
to do is purchase new CIS carts, flush the tubing and tranfer the 
chips to those carts. Also, NoMoreCarts no longer sells direct, so 
your best bet would be the Niagra system from Media Street since they 
sell that system with the Niagra name as rebranding. Inkjetart.com 
also sells the exact same system with free shipping to boot. You can 
not buy the just the chips though, and I don't blame Dave since it is 
the best solution to date and he had a lot of money tied up in 
getting them made.
