I don't really know.  The curves will all be brought up to about the same
level ultimately.  (The most problematic one I have out there now may be the
1280-pc warm.)

If there is a difference in susceptibility to banding between the two, that
would be the deciding factor for me.  However, others who may have owned the
machines (even on other lists) would be the ones to ask.
