Assuming that the Ebony ink has not changed in a while from MIS, and assuming that it is the only point of present relief from the costs of Epson K3 inks, it would seem that having good ol' Ebony to refill the Epson 2400 matt black cartridges is a blessing. Has anyone seen or considered that Ebony will work fine with the nozzles in the Epson 2400. In other words that Ebony will not be thicker, for example than the Epson Matte ink ? And also the "microencapsulization" of the other pigments is not necessary with the Ebony "black-black" because the factor of the K3 "microencapsulization" is not relevant to the black-black setting ?
