Digital BW, The Print

Hi All, I'm sure this has been asked 1,000 times but it did not so up 
on my search so here goes.  Is it possible to use the black Epson 
DURABrite ink cartridge with the other 3 cartridges being the MIS EZ 
neutral black inks?? My thinking is that with the DURABrite black 
cartridge installed I would be able to print on both matte finish and 
DuraBrite glossy paper. If this is bad, can the MIS matte black, and 
gloss black cartridges be switched back and forth without a major 
flushing of the inks involved??
