That's, no doubt, why when "No Color Management" is selected in Color Settings (in Elements, which I am assuming beginners have or should have) the view and the print are the same as if Gray Gamma 2.2 is selected. Since those -- No Color Management and GG 2.2 -- are the 2 defaults I've seen in copies of Elements, novice users can just ignore the issue and use the defaults. Paul www.PaulRoark.com
