I did make this choice, and went with Cone's inks and the StudioPrint RIP. The question you are posing, however, seems to be full of gaps. Do you need to print color and grayscale from the same printer? Do you need to print on non-matte paper? Do you need to match exactly a particular shade - a warm-ish neutral? A colder selenium tone?
