As one of those describing problems (on a 1290 and 1270s) I should make it clear that I believe "support" (Rob) at MIS when he tells me that problems are rare. I accept that I was either unlucky or doing something wrong. Looking at the carts I had problems with, some of the leaks were due to the holes the plugs were going into, rather than the plugs themselves. This belief is supported by leaks occurring in the same slot after exchanging plugs, and a couple of cases where the "new" hollow plugs were conspicuously loose fitting (no chance they would seal). (I put "new" in quotes as the last two carts I got, two weeks ago, were back to the original plugs.) If I was still interested in using these I would try silicone sealant, but I print slightly too much for frequent refilling of tiny carts. Ken
