Hmmm. That sounds like it has a high chance of getting particles in the ink, and forever clogging the jets. Epson processes and fills their carts in a cleanroom, FWIW. Also those fittings are made by the Eldon James Corp., so you might look them up to see about ordering directly, but you may need to buy by the hundred (or more) count, instead of a few at a time.
