Re: [Digital BW] wacom tablet note

2005-12-02 by Jim Coffee

Hi Larry...

I work on two monitors, mainly with images (as opposed to graphic art) but not always.

I am setup with Photoshop CS. I put my image on the left monitor and the toolbars etc. on the right monitor.

I work with two mice (one on the right and the Wacom mouse on my left). Also the Wacom pen on my left. I'm left handed.

I find this setup very efficient and relaxing. When I work detail areas I simply expand the image in Photoshop.

My Wacom is a 6 X 8 (which measures outside 10 X 11). The fact that the tablet is not the exact ratio as the two monitors is essentially invisible to me. I just work.

Hi. This is my first post to this forum, although I have been
  monitoring it for some time.

I've been reading the discussion about the wacom tablets with
interest. I was wondering what people's experience was with using one
(especially the smaller 4x5 ones) with two monitors. I've read mixed
reactions elsewhere about how well that works. Thanks.
