Hi John, I am using Windows XP pro-sp2, and you name it and most likely I have tried it. I have printed a test file and all the boxes from 95 to 100 percent are always black, more so on matte papers. I am certainly not an expert but I do know enough to confuse myself... :) I am using the papers profiles correctly too. I just don't know what else to try, hence the profiler...maybe I should get one made first though, and those things seem expensive. Steve, are you talking about the color space when you say "Possibly the wrong workspace..." I think I have PSCS2 set to adobe rgb... Thanks guys; Jim -----Original Message----- From: DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com [mailto:DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com] On Behalf Of Steve Kale Sent: Friday, December 02, 2005 3:45 PM To: DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com Subject: Re: [Digital BW] advice on a profiling device???
