Swirtching bet OEM color inks and MIS eboni on Epson 2200?

Can one switch the 2200 back and forth between MIS B&W inks and the
Epson color cartridges?  Must one clean the heads? Or is it better to
dedicate a printer to B&W only inks and use another for color prints?
