In fact a while ago I had a procedure to soft-proof this way. But if you looked at the forward curves generated they were quite bizarre. It looked like an attempt to put wildly steep curves to make more color where there wasn't any. The QTR-Create-ICC tool is specifically designed for grayscale charts. Currently it outputs a gray ICC profile but if I output the same data but in RGB format where R=G=B I think Qimage should accept it. Roy
