Digital BW, The Print

I have an Epson 1200 and thinking about getting the MIS 
continuous flow system with their monochrome inks. I'm 
currently using Luminos monochrome inks in the cartridges, but 
I end up using half the ink just trying to keep the heads 
unclogged....way too expensive, time comsuming, not to mention 
a big pain in the ass.
How good is the MIS system and what problems with it working 
properly, head clogging etc? Any first hand experience with this 
would be greatly appreciated before I spend even more money, 
make the switch, only to have the same problem or worse.
