I have both a 3000 and a 5000 and my 3000 WILL take thicker paper (I've printed on 26 mil textured paper with my 3000 without a problem - although you do have to load it from the back) while my 5000 will NOT. The 5000 has been nothing but a waste of space and money IMO. Definitely not my favorite Epson printer, can you tell <G>. ----- Original Message ----- From: Julian Thomas <julianthomas@...> To: <DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com> Sent: Thursday, January 03, 2002 8:32 AM Subject: Re: [Digital BW] Re: Epson Printers bigger than A3 > I know many won't agree but the fact that the 3000/5000 won't take thicker > fine art papers rules it out for me.
