i have been using the continuous flow system on my 1200 with great 
results. there are some issues however. first, if you follow the 
instructions to the letter you should be ok with initial filling of 
cartriges. second, once it is up and running you need to run a 
cleaning cycle once a day to keep the sponges from drying out. i let 
mine sit to long once and it went dry. i had to replace the unit, 
which by the way was replaced by mis for free. this system has saved 
incredible time and hastle, not to mention money. i say go for it.
