Thanks for all the information. I believe I'm going to order the 1280. 
The refurb'd unit with rebate is right in my budget! Next I'll call 
MIS and order some UT2, and MISPRO inks. 

Does MIS have a profile for the MISPRO/1280 availabe for download yet?
