Steve,

Can this be done with a densitometer, or do you need a spectro? Care to outline the steps 
necessary? QTR is not totally making sense to me yet...

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
