Digital BW, The Print

I'm doing some QTR curves for a 2200 and UT7 ink.  I don't want to
wait 24 hours for the ink to settle in and I know some of you use a
hair dryer to speed things up.  How long do you use the dryer and do
you keep it a foot or so off the paper?
