I would recommend the R220, mainly because it has individual carts for
each ink.  This will make it much easier to experiment with different
inks.  It also seems to have far fewer clogging problems with pigments
than the 1280 (according to reports in this forum).  I have an R200
and it has never yet clogged.  The R200/220 is MUCH newer technology.
