I spoke with the Epson guy over the phone and he wasn't aware 

of the buttons to push to get rid of the flashes, by the way.  He did 

flush the heads and lines really well, though, and the flush 

image I printed was totally clear.  I can't imagine there is a clog, 

although at this point I am hoping for one.

Hi Jan:

I assume you did this, but did you run the alignment utility and how did it 
look after foing a few head cleanings?  Also, the head height might need 
adjusting, but I'm not sure to which height since I don't have a 3000.
