As an update, finally got thru to MIS and they are having send back the inks for testing. Seems like the lot numbers are correct for warm tone. They don't have an answer for the chip going bad again. Great service, always has been, just hope I don't have to deal with this all the time. Just means I can't print anything for a few days and can't get any printing done. That 2400 seems better and better. May not have to pay rent one month to get it and avoid all these inconveniences. :) Not going to try that tape thing since they are expecting the carts back as they are but if it happens again I will try it.
