My Designjet 30 has a built-in CIS so residual ink in the tubings may still cause a problem if the inks are in fact incompatible. So if you need to flush out old ink in the plumbing you might as well flush it out of the heads. I'd say it will be a major hassle in switching inksets in my printer. Thanks, --nick
