You must be referring to the quickie version in the 2400 article. That's a method that produces generally better results than just a straight grayscale mode conversion, but is still quick and easy. There is a more detailed version of it the the FAQ article #7 that uses Hue/Sat and ChMx layers and allows a lot more control. Perhaps I should mention that and add a link to it. In fact, I've been thinking about fleshing it out with more details and making it a complete new article of its own. Maybe it's time to do this.
