Your question has confused me - but that's not difficult. Printing dpi needs to be 1440 or 2880 - at the higher end of the scale - so my confusion is why you are wondering about such a small dpi (ink dots per inch). Unless you are referring to ppi (pixels per inch), in which case I refer you to post 67841 and thread that follows - and the conclusion is that anything but not 300ppi.
