AK, I am getting essentially the same Dmax on these two papers with MIS Eboni ink (on a 2400) as I reported for 4000 MK. So it seems reasonable that the 100% carbon K7 black will behave in a similar manner, but I don't know for sure. If you like the warmth of USFA for b/w then Sterling Platinum should serve you well.
