I have heard various reports of people trying BO with various
non-Epson printers, none reporting any success.


I'll leave Question #2 for others, as I'm not familiar with that
paper.  But will say that there seems to be a consensus that the new
R220 (6-inks) does a better job than the C-86.  If you haven't already
purchased a C-86 you might consider that.
