Thanks for the reply.

I'm not able to try Lightroom yet, as I use PC and Adobe hasn't 
released a PC version of Lightroom yet.

What intrigues me is the fact that Lightroom will allow you to 
convert the RAW files to monochrome.

Sometimes I have 25 or so files (all shot with the same lighting set-
up) that I need to convert to B&W.

With Adobe Bridge, I have to convert first (in color) then go to CS2 
and convert to grayscale.

It would be nice to "batch" convert my RAW files at the time 
of "processing".
