You could create your toning in Photoshop, however, and just print via the standard method (i.e., using the paper's profile and without using the ABW mode). The R2400 prints very nice mono using the Epson profiles. Otherwise, I guess you would have to go with some type of RIP. I'm pretty sure Imageprint will handle split-toning - not sure about QTR or any others these days. (I stopped experimenting when I received my R2400!) HTH -
