Hello Paolo,
Epson 2400 ABW driver can't print pre-toned images. ImagePrint RIP 
running on Epson 2200, will accept 'colorized' images that are in the 
RGB space and print beautiful greyscale and color portions. 
You can print it on R2400 through its colour driver (disable ABW) I 
have not yet tried this version.
