Glad to see that Canon is on its way! I wonder how long before the 44" version? Their current offerings are 6 channel machines. And, I wonder the price. I think they just may be going after Epson's market after all. Glad I waited on my 9800. Wonder if ole Wilhelm is going to promote em and what that would do to his Epson contracts. john --- In DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com, Ernst Dinkla <E.Dinkla@...> wrote: > > > > Seems like Canon soon delivers the printers we like to have: > > > > ° imagePROGRAF iPF5000 > > > > http://www.macsimumnews.com/index.php/archive/new_large_format_canon_printer_due_in_april/ > > > > ° PIXMA Pro9500 model, the first PIXMA photo printer to use 10 > > pigment ink cartridges with Canon's new Lucia pigmented inks > > which provide photo black, matte black, gray, photo magenta, > > magenta, photo cyan, cyan, yellow, green and red for color and > > monochrome prints. > > > > ° PIXMA Pro9000 printer, which uses eight dye-based ink > > cartridge and new Direct Print features and bundled software > > to help speed up workflow. > > For the last two see: > > http://www.steves-digicams.com/pr/canon_02212006_pixmapro_pr.html > > Ernst > > > > -- > Ernst Dinkla > > > www.pigment-print.com > ( unvollendet ) >
