This is great news for the "comsumer". Nothing like competition in a 
free market.

Canon has the resources to crush Epson if they so choose to.

Hopefully, Canon's pigment inks will rival Epson's in the longevity 
testing. That's what everyone will be looking at, IMO.

I never had a fault with Canon printers, other than the fact that the 
inks faded relatively fast.

I looking forward to the "data" and "testing". Bring it on!  :>)
