Paul, thanks for the reply, I moved the assembly to the cart changing
position with the change ink button, then turned the power off.I
looked for the parking pads and couldn't see them in the room light,
but with a flash light I did see them but theyre way back down in
there. How do you get back down in there with your fingers, theres not
much room to work down in there.Do I need to take the casing off the
printer? Also will plain ol Windex do the trick for the pads?I have not
used this printer in 5 years and it had sat unused with the original
MIS quadtone pre-filled carts in it all this time.I did buy the MIS
purging carts last week along with the UT with eboni carts and ran
multiple cleaning/purging cycles with the purging carts before
installing the inks.Things printed out good till the ink carts got
down below 1/4 full, then the nozzle checks started breaking up and a
purge print showed no ink coming out of the magenta nozzle.I've got a
new set of UT carts coming in the mail next week and am wondering the
next step to take to get back up and running.Overall this printer has
very few hours on it and I'd like to be able to get it running
smoothly if possible.Thanks again.....Chris
