Hi; I;ve used nothing but Windex for the 3 years I've been messing with these machines, it works fine. I agree you should not use the no-drip variety. Direct injection is far more effective as a fast solution than carts & cleaning cycles. If a straight-through injection doesn't do it, try GENTLY pumping fluid in and then sucking it back out, using a fresh load each time. Finish by leaving the head full of Windex, so it doesn't run dry when you test it.
