I downloaded the profiles from the Pantone web site for my 2100/2200
and used ChroMix ColorThink to compare their 3D gamuts with those of
profiles I'd had made using PMP, and the Pantone gamuts were
significantly smaller for cmparable papers. BTW I had to register with
their web site to get these profiles.

So I'd take their marketing spiel about gamut with a pinch of salt.

If anybody on this list has made profiles with these inks maybe they
can do some 3D gamut comparisons; maybe the Pantone profiles didn't do
justice to the inks.

BTW I think it's great that Pantone are joining the third party inks
market, so I'm not trying to be negative about them here, just
querying their gamut claims.
