It is indeed a good quality battery. However, regardless of which battery is used in a given camera, my experience has shown that how long a battery lasts is directly related to how many pictures one takes and how much the view screen is used. I don't think it is a stretch to suggest that more than one charge would be required during a week of busy shooting during a photo expedition, especially in such an image rich area as the High Sierras. I imagine it would also be very tempting to want to review each day's work. Even if all viewing is done on an off-load storage device, batteries are required for that. I would consider it sheer folly to pay travel expenses and workshop fees for a relatively rare and week-long opportunity like that and only take one or even two batteries for whatever devices are used.
