I will only add to this: I did not do EXACTLY what Mike is talking 
about, but I did get the lines to a point where they showed no air. 
The problem was that the air always tended to creep back in 
somehow, even after clearly viewing the lines as completely full.

But, for sure, follow Mike's procedure and see what happens. He 
is much more experienced with this than I am. 

I think also a factor as to how high the bottles must be stored. 
Not too high; not too low. Mike will advise about this.

Too much witchcraft for me....
