Ah, the double tube version. Call Bob and ask him to take it back. Have him send you the newest version with the single tube. As I mentioned mine has now been running w/o air infiltration for almost a month.

One other option. Jim Davis has a design using 1/4"id tubing the runs maintenance free.  I bought an extra set of carts for $10 ea. Tubing for $5, GE Silicon for $3, drilled a few holes and will test out his system in a few days. Jim says that the very thin tubing is starving the printer of ink.

I sent my double tube version back as I could not get it to work.

    I did the install fill according to your detailed instructions and 
  the same jet remained missing. Then I printed out a purge sheet and 
  after that about 5 other jets now have gaps in the pattern. They were 
  not plugged before I printed the purge sheet. I wonder if it has to 
  do with the tubing diameter. When the first system leaked air, Bob 
  sent me a double tube set with two tubes coming out of each cartridge 
  instead of one. The diameter of the new tubing is even less than the 
  old CIS system I received. I wonder the heads are  unable to suck the 
  ink up into the ink jet heads because of the small tubing. I even 
  tried the old windex trick to no avail and applied it on the parking 
  pads. Something is wrong as I now have for the first time several 
  gaps in my head pattern indication air or much less likely particle 
  blockage.

  Thoughts or ideas ??
