I suspect the bronzing difference is more a function of whether the older PK used the older base. All of the MIS inks should be using the new base. The base that was started to be used a year ago made a major difference in the level of bronzing. You can tell what base is used by smelling the ink. The new ink base has what I'd call is distinct ammonia smell. The 2400 PK is a lighter load ink than the older PK. With the newer printers, we've found that lighter loads actually produce a better dmax with less, if any, gloss differential. Paul www.PaulRoark.com
