Hello Guhan, >I have two problems. First, in the media type drop down, Velvet >Fine Art, Watercolor Paper, and Ultrasmooth are grayed out for >some reason, so I can't choose VFA. This might be caused by having PK ink (for glossy papers) installed. The above papers are matte surface and require the MK ink cart. >The second problem is I don't know where to make the paper size >settings you detail (Quarter sheet) - is this in the Paper >handling drop down? Choose "User Defined" in the paper size pick list. This will open a window to define a custom size. This is explained in detail in the article in item #3 under "Driver Settings". >And finally, the third problem is I can't seem to find the ABW >settings for Tone and Horizontal/Vertical color values. I do see >a Color Toning drop-down, but it is only allowing me to select >Neutral, Cool, Warm & Sepia. "Color Toning" should be ignored, as explained in item #6. Just after item #7 it says "ABW Settings - Click the Settings button" The "Settings" button goes to the ABW settings page. Then follow the directions in items # 8 and 9. That should do it. I think the main thing is to make sure the MK ink is installed. The printer knows which one is there and allows only appropriate papers to be selected. Sometimes I think they are too smart, but that's another story <g>. Regards, Clayton Info on black and white digital printing at http://www.cjcom.net/digiprnarts.htm
