If you got time then a slower computer system is as good. File
size isn't limited other than in time to process it. And if
you have to work on the faster system you probably save more
time by hooking the scanner to a separate slower system. I
sometimes end up with 500 - 600 MB files on a 1200 MHz AMD
system with 750 MB memory. There's other work to do while that
scan system runs .
