Elements uses the ICCs just fine.  It's in the Color Management option of
the Print Preview.  See the box below the preview image.

You can also make ICCs.  For this, you use Roy Harrington's "Create ICC,"
which is in the QTR download package.

What Elements does not support is the curves that will have tone control
information on them for future inksets (UT-3D, for example).  However, I'll
probably post these curves in a way that Elements users can utilize them.
For example, you can drag a curves layer from one file to another in
Elements.  So, you would not be able to modify the curves, but you would be
able to embed the curve into an ICC and linearize your system.  For the
UT-R2 inkset, however, these curves are not relevant.
