RPM will take at least twice as long (or even longer?) as the next best setting. I'm not sure because I only tried it once, decided the very subtle differences between RPM and Best Photo were not worth it (and not indisputably "better" with RPM), and never tried it again. Try some side-by-side comparisons and see for yourself. The print quality you get for your buck w/ the R220 is astounding, but you have to expect some tradeoffs in other areas. - Bob
