I've been experimenting with Van Dyke Brown using digital negatives. I am not using Mark Nelson or Dan Burkholder's systems, but am "winging it" and so far the (limited) results are very promising. I am currently using the MIS-EZ inks in an Epson C86 and printing on Pictorico OHP. The digital negatives look awful when printed with canned settings, but when I dial down "brightness" the ink density is much improved.
