Digital BW, The Print

based printer versus the Epson K3 print (4800). The Epson seemed to be
slightly warmer. The date for the release of the canon printer will be
probably be this fall. It has apparently been pushed back a bit from
the original target date."

I am still on my 2100 and would like to keep it, however I'd also like
to have a newer printer for both color and b&w, but I will wait until
reliable reviews are out for the new Canons. It they are good, there
could at last be some competition, making Epson even rethink their
pricing policy, specially for inks. I never understood why the one who
consumes and buys more of a consimable (ink) is not given rebates,
like a pack of 3 cartridges for the price of 2, or something of the like. 

I hope for Canon.
