Digital BW, The Print

I can roughly echo this, although I've had an occasional need to clean 
heads with K3, but I've never had to repeat this more than twice, 
usually the first cycle has cleared the problem.

However, my experience suggests that clogging is very dependent both on 
the individual printer and also probably the user. I've owned 4 Epson 
1160s, used all with pigment inks that were notorious for clogging in 
these printers. One got replaced under warranty for this (it also 
clogged with Epson inks), but otherwise I've had only minor problems 
over years of use.
