Clay, I've been using another computer with 9 as a print server. I am now thinking of retiring that computer (yes, a G3) And getting a mini mac to use as a print server as the G3 is a real plodder. If anyone can advise me on another method please let me know. My G4 computer with o.s. X on it has been printing perfectly with the GIMP print driver and it has only recently become an issue because I wish to print with my Piezo set-up. I have 3 1160's which work perfectly and I am a little resistant to chucking equipment that works. (well I guess that is debateable). The issue is settings for Piezo. I've figured out most of them except there is no option for turning off color sync . Under color conversion you have 2 options standard or color sync. Also under Dither Algorithm, there are 6 different settings. (I hate to admit on this forum that I only have a very faint idea of what DA even is) I think my career options as a network specialist could be limited. > For whatever it's worth, I tried for a long time to make the drivers > work in OS10. Are you happy with them? It's funny yesterday I found myself thinking about the darkroom as keeping track/up with all this tech stuff makes my head spin.
