But I don't WANT to discuss this stuff on your printer-related lists or this list. And I doubt most other people do, either. It simply divides people into two camps who wind up not liking each other. While the issues are important, and I'm sometimes willing to discuss them in other forums, I regard it as an intrusion when someone brings up an issue that a) produces deep ideological or philosophical divisions, and b) isn't on-topic for the list. (The fact that this list is on the internet doesn't make every internet-related issue on-topic.) While you can do what you want on lists you moderate, I wish you wouldn't elsewhere. -- Ciao, Paul D.
