Steve, the discussion was regarding government interference as opposed to a free market. Fuel cost was an example of an uchecked free market. The problem with the free market concept is that it is not allowed to remain free. Producers artificially manipulate a free market, thus effectively ending free market. The same problem is happening to free speech. Free speech is only tolerated as long as those listening agree. If not, a great uproar ensues! By the way, three dollars a gallon is only cheap if it had reached that point by true free market forces. It has not. It is not an issue relevant for discussion here and has nothing to do with free speech. Paul is correct on this. PS: $3 a gallon is cheap! Try a more fuel efficient car. > From: Andre <am1000@...> > Reply-To: <DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com> > Date: Sat, 06 May 2006 20:04:46 -0000 > To: <DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com> > Subject: [Digital BW] Re: Congress is selling out the Internet - this > could > effect your use of YAHOO!G > > --- In DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com, "Paul D.
