If you have CS or CS 2, make sure that you have the latest Camera Raw plug-in from Adobe. This should convert you Nikon NEF files. (It does with my D200). When you click on the file in the Adobe browser, it'll pull up the Camera Raw screen. Do your RAW adjustments, and then save as a 16 bit TIFF. I recommend TIFF, because it's an open standard, which means that it's less likely to become unreadable in the future. -Peter
