I've had good luck with the MIS sponge carts. My oldest set are on six
refills, and no sponge related clogs. They cost me $5.50/cart, so even
if the sixth fill turns out to be the last, that's better than $1 per
fill.

The spongeless carts I received from an eBay vendor mentioned on this
list "drooled" ink into the printer. The cleanup cost much more (in my
time) than the carts would ever save me.

WeInk has a set of eight spongeless carts for $155. That's $19/cart.
(They say this "includes tools", but I have no need of any more
syringes). Now, maybe $19/cart lasts forever. Maybe it doesn't. Maybe
WeInk gets the carts from is different source than the ones that
drooled, and maybe they're the same carts.

I'm staying with the sponge carts.
